Texas Vaccines for Children (TVFC) Program

TVFC Eligibility:

The Texas Vaccines for Children (TVFC) program provides low-cost vaccines to eligible children from birth through 18 years of age who meet one or more of the following criteria:

Enrolled in Children’s Medicaid program

American Indian or Alaska Native (As defined by 25 U.S.C. 1603)

Uninsured Children: Children who do not have health insurance

UNDERinsured: Children who have commercial (private) health insurance, but Coverage does not include vaccines; or Covers only selected vaccines (TVFC-eligible for non-covered vaccines only); or Health insurance covers all vaccines, but the plan has a fixed dollar limit or cap on the amount that it will cover for vaccines

Underinsured children must be seen by a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), Rural Health Clinic (RHC), or deputized clinic.

 

Adult Safety Net (ASN) Program:

ASN Eligibility:

Anyone who is 19 years of age or older and does not have health insurance is eligible to receive low-cost vaccines under the Adult Safety Net program.

 

Individuals are not eligible to receive ASN vaccines if they are enrolled in Medicare or Medicaid, if they have other health insurance, or if their existing healthcare insurance does not cover vaccinations.

 

Children (0-18 yrs.):
There is a $14.85 administration fee per vaccine for those that qualify for the TVFC vaccine. Parent or guardian must accompany any child or adolescent up to the age of 17 years old. If the individual is 18, they can sign for themselves. A current immunization record each visit is required, a note or picture is not sufficient.  Please be prepared to show Medicaid card if it applies. Client or parent/guardians must provide a valid government issued photo ID each visit.

 

Adults (19 yrs. & up)

There is a $25 administrative fee per vaccine for those who qualify for the ASN vaccine. Current immunization record is needed to be seen or scheduled for immunizations. Client must provide a valid government issued photo ID each visit.

TB Test are offered Monday-Wednesday for a fee of $20.00, you are required to return in 48 hrs after TB test is administered for results.
